NAGC - National Association for Gifted Children
NAGC is a national organization which acts to raise awareness of and support the needs of high potential learners. Its members act at the federal level to advocate for gifted education, at the state level to support state affiliates, and locally to support teachers, administrators and parents through its website, magazines and other publications, webinars, and more. NAGC hosts a national conference each November, where attendees benefit from three days of keynote addresses and breakout sessions presented by top educators and researchers in the field.
"...NAGC invests all of its resources to train teachers, encourage parents and educate administrators and policymakers on how to develop and support gifted children and what's at stake if high-potential learners are not challenged and encouraged."
